It has been pointed out that the 2.7 probably, overall, outperforms the 5.0 V8 based on the dyno. But lets take this conversation another direction, which has been totally missed by Edmunds and every, single negative review of this 2.7-liter Ford Ecoboost choice by every professional reviewer.
2.7 liter Ecoboost Ford F150. ... with a rebate the 2.7 was $1995.00 cheaper than the 5.0. not chump change for a cheapskate like me. ... Because of that my options where limited.
